Class Dates: Saturday 16 & Sunday 17 June 2018

An intricate Jacobean leaf worked with subtle shading. The leaf contains different areas of interest through its use of stitches including raised stem band, a decorative laid trellis, shaded buttonhole, whipped and woven buttonholes to name a few. Suitable for anyone who has previously attended a beginners class.

The class kit will include everything you require to complete the project. You may like to bring your own embroidery scissors and you will be able to borrow ring frames, magnifiers and lights (if needed) on the day.

This class will run from 10am-4pm at Hampton Court Palace, East Molesey, Surrey KT8 9AU

Jacobean Crewelwork
Crewelwork is an ideal technique 
for anyone new to embroidery. Introducing a range of stitches and an element of shading, this technique can be used for traditional and contemporary designs.
