This charming design will allow you to learn the fundamentals of the technique of Appliqué as well as mastering the finishing of fabric edges which includes couching and cords. Extra stitches will be taught to enable you to embroider the text.

The class kit will include everything you require to complete the project. You may like to bring your own embroidery scissors and you will be able to borrow ring frames, magnifiers and lights (if needed) on the day.

This class will run from 10am-4pm at Hampton Court Palace, East Molesey, Surrey KT8 9AU

Appliqué is a technique in which patterns or representational scenes are created by the application of smaller pieces of fabric onto a larger piece of contrasting colour or texture.
