Introduction to Both Sides Alike - Hampton Court (Code 3151)

Date Days Price Tutor Places left
16/09/2017 1 £106.00 Debra Jackson sold out
[Course cost: £78.00 - Required kit cost: £28.00 ]

This course has already taken place.

In this one day class you will learn the following both sides alike techniques, long and short, padded satin stitch and stem stitch. The embroidery is worked in perle cotton on a heavy weight silk fabric. The design of laurel leaves and berries has been taken from the regimental spray worked by past apprentices and Future tutors, and is an ideal introduction to this technique.

The class kit will include everything you require to complete the project. You may like to bring your own embroidery scissors and you will be able to borrow ring frames, magnifiers and lights (if needed) on the day.

Please note that the image is an example of the technique

This class will run from 10am-4pm at Hampton Court Palace, East Molesey, Surrey KT8 9AU
