This course is ideal for those starting out in stitching as you will learn to work this traditional technique with wool on linen.  The design includes a lovely variety of traditional stiches such as Trellis, Split stitch, French knots, Stem stitch, Whipped backstitch and Pekinese Stitch.

 The class kit will include everything you require to complete the project. You may like to bring your own embroidery scissors and you will be able to borrow ring frames, magnifiers and lights (if needed) on the day.

This class will run from 10am- 4pm at Hampton Court Palace, East Molesey, Surrey. KT8 9AU

Jacobean Crewelwork
Crewelwork is an ideal technique
for anyone new to embroidery. Introducing a range of stitches and an element of shading, this technique can be used for traditional and contemporary designs.
