In this introduction class you will learn how to work simple patterns and simple shading in order to stitch this  lovely whale tail design.

The class kit will include everything you require to complete the project. You may like to bring your own embroidery scissors and you will be able to borrow ring frames, magnifiers and lights (if needed) on the day.

This class will run from 10am-4pm at Arnold House, Elsee Road, Rugby, Warwickshire. CV21 3BA

Blackwork is a historical technique that has been developed by the RSN to become a form of tonal stitching. The technique uses a variety of geometric stitches in one colour which enables dramatic effects to be created. It is particularly effective with portraits and architectural themes.
