This class will introduce the students to a number of techniques and stitches used to create beautiful silverwork including: chipping, applying silver kid leather, applying spangles and couching. The students will be shown how to handle the silver plated metal threads before learning how to prepare their snowflake design with felt padding. The metal threads used in this class will include pearl purl, bright check, millary wire and Japanese thread.

This class is suitable for complete beginner to the technique of for those who wish to practice their skills.

The class kit will include everything you require to complete the project. You may like to bring your own embroidery scissors and you will be able to borrow ring frames, magnifiers and lights (if needed) on the day.

This class will run at 38 Old School House, Kingswood Estate, Britannia Road, Kingswood, Bristol. BS15 8DB
