This course has already taken place.

Class Date: Sunday 19 November 2017

Learn traditional stumpwork embroidery with a choice of festive brooch design.  Both designs feature silk fabrics, goldwork threads and bead details.  This class focuses on the key technique of three-dimensional wire work, with embellishments of gold or silver threads and beads.  All the techniques in the kit will be covered in the class, with a chance to practice at home.

The tutor will demonstrate to the group, and also give plenty of individual attention to each student allowing you to develop your embroidery skills. The class is suitable for all students.

The class kit will include everything you require to complete the project. You may like to bring your own embroidery scissors and you will be able to borrow ring frames, magnifiers and lights (if needed) on the day.

Please note that the kit has been designed and produced by RSN Tutor Lizzy Pye.

This class will run from 10am- 4pm at Hampton Court Palace, East Molesey, Surrey. KT8 9AU
