This course has already taken place.

This charming flower designed is worked in a white work technique known as pulled work. Pulled work is the technique of counted stitches being pulled with a tight tension to produce an intricate open pattern. The class will also include some edging stitches to give a defined edge.

The class kit will include everything you require to complete the project. You may like to bring your own embroidery scissors and you will be able to borrow ring frames, magnifiers and lights (if needed) on the day.

This class will run from 10am- 4pm at Hampton Court Palace, East Molesey, Surrey. KT8 9AU

The term applies to a variety of techniques, ranging from the bold stitches to more delicate work. Whitework traditionally uses white thread on white fabric in bridal and christening wear and ecclesiastical pieces. It also adapts well to contemporary designs.
