Learn how to make up a full size stole in this 2 day class. There will be a choice of liturgical colours to choose from. The stole will be made in silk dupion, fully interlined and lined. You will learn how to embroider a small cross onto the centre back seam, but no other embroidery will be taught during this class.

The class will begin with drafting a pattern, cutting the fabric to size and hand-stitching the stole. The cross is couched in Japanese thread before the stole is lined.

The class kit will include everything you require to complete the project. You may like to bring your own embroidery scissors and you will be able to borrow ring frames, magnifiers and lights (if needed) on the day.

Please note this is an example of ecclesiastical embroidery

This class runs from 10am-4pm at Hampton Court Palace, East Molesey, Surrey. KT8 9AU
