This course has already taken place.

This day is intended for those who are new to surface stitching or want to refresh some rusty skills.  Working on linen twill with a lovely contemporary design and with crewel wool you will learn a variety of stitches useful for covering lines, filling spaces and creating highlights.  By the end of the day you will have learnt enough to finish your work at home and be ready for your next step in embroidery.  

This class runs from 10am-4pm at Arnold House, Elsee Road, Rugby, Warwickshire. CV21 3BA

Jacobean Crewelwork
Crewelwork is an ideal technique 
for anyone new to embroidery. Introducing a range of stitches and an element of shading, this technique can be used for traditional and contemporary designs.
