Making a purchase
Making a purchase could not be easier. Just navigate through our categories and add any items that you wish to buy into the shopping basket.  After you have finished your selection, click on 'Checkout' and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to complete the order.

Payment
We accept Visa, Mastercard, JCB, Maestro, Solo and Electron.  We do not accept American Express payments.

Prices
The prices for goods and services displayed for sale on this website are in pounds sterling (£) and include Value Added Tax (where applicable) at the appropriate current rates. Delivery may be charged in addition. Any such additional charges are clearly displayed in your order.

RSN Friends’ & Special Supporters’ membership
Annual RSN Friend's subscriptions run from January to December each year.
Life memberships run from the date the subscription is processed and consist of one single payment.
Special Supporters (Ribbon, Cotton, Wool, Silk and Gold) subscriptions are renewable on the anniversary of the date the membership is processed.  Payments may be made in monthly instalments
Friends and Special Supporters receive a 10% discount on online shop product purchases, Day Class fees and RSN Tour fees

Day Classes
We will let you know within seven days if a place is available on the course/s specified. If the course is fully booked, we will add you to a waiting list and also let you know what other courses in the same technique are still available. Payment will not be taken until your place is confirmed.

Cancellation Policy for Day Classes
Cancellation by Student
If you cancel your booking and we cannot fill your place, we regret we cannot refund any fee.
If we can fill your place, we will refund your fee less an administration charge of £25.00.
Alternatively, you can transfer your booking to another Day Class and an administration fee of £25.00 will be charged.

Cancellation by RSN
The RSN reserves the right to cancel any class if necessary. We will notify students as soon as possible and not less than two weeks before the start date of the class. We will offer a full refund or a place on another class if preferred.

RSN Tours
We will let you know within seven days if a place is available on the tour/s specified. If the tour is fully booked, we will let you know what other tours are still available. Payment will not be taken until your place is confirmed.

Voucher codes
Only one discount can be applied to each order.  

RSN Friends’ & Special Supporters discount
RSN Friends & Special Supporters receive 10% discount on day class fees, RSN tour bookings and shop products - please put your 7 digit membership code in the Voucher box.
Shipping & Handling
When you place an order to purchase from our website, we will send you an email containing the order details and confirming receipt of the order.

We may not be able to process your order, or part of your order, due to one of the following reasons:-
a. Authorisation of your payment failed
b. We made a pricing or product description error

If there are any problems with your order, we will contact you by email. If one or more of the items you have ordered are out of stock, we will send the rest of your order.

We do not charge for any item until it is ready to ship and out of stock items on order will not be charged until they are shipped.

Postage & Packing Rates

These are based on three geographical areas, UK, Europe and Rest of the World.  The charges are based on the value of the order.  

Postage & Packing rates only apply to shop products eg, embroidery kits and equipment, embroidery books, gifts, and RSN-branded products.

No Postage & Packing is charged on Friends’ membership, Special Supporters’ subscriptions, Day Class bookings, Donations or Tour Bookings.

Special Delivery – shop products.  We can arrange this for you but an additional cost will be charged.  Please contact +44(0)20 3166 6935 before you place your order.  

Import taxes
Some countries charge import duties and taxes.  You are considered the importer of the goods and must comply with all laws and regulations of the destination country of your order.   Please contact your local customs office for further information.

Delivery Schedule
We aim to dispatch orders within 5 working days, but customers should allow up to 28 days for delivery.


Back Orders
If your item is not in stock, we will back order for you. You will always be emailed with the option to cancel your order if you would rather not wait.

If an item sells out, we will take it off the website at the earliest opportunity. As we process your order, we will inform you by email if items have become unavailable. If your item is out of stock, we will re-order for you. You will have the option to cancel your order should you rather not wait. We will inform you if an item is discontinued.

Credit Card Security
When the order is placed at our website, credit card numbers are encrypted using 128 bit encryption. They are not held in clear text on any web site.

Every effort has been made to ensure that descriptions and prices of items featured on this site are correct at time of publication. Despite these efforts, a small number of items may be
Incorrectly priced or prices may change prior to acceptance of your order and we will therefore verify prices as part of our dispatch process. If a product's correct price is lower than our stated price, we will charge the lower amount and process the order. If the product's correct price is higher than stated, we will attempt to contact you to obtain your instructions. If we cannot contact you, we will cancel your order and notify you of that cancellation

Returns Policy for goods (kits, books, RSN exclusive products, equipment & gifts)
By law, customers in the European Union have the right to withdraw from the purchase of an item within seven working days of the day after the date the item is delivered. The item must be in its original unused condition.

If you are in the European Union, and you wish to cancel your order within the seven-working-day period, please forward your Order Confirmation Email to us, stating that you do not wish to go ahead with the proposed purchase and return all items in a saleable condition.

Where you notify us of your wish to cancel your order in writing or by e-mail within seven working days, the cost of your order will be reimbursed in full, including post and packaging where charged subject to items being in an unused, saleable condition. In all cases, refunds will be made to the credit or debit card that was used for the original purchase.

Remittance Terms
Please package items carefully and return so that we receive them within 7 working days of the date you receive them. Please note that you are responsible for the costs of returning the items to us unless we sent you the wrong item, or if it is damaged or defective. We recommend that you obtain proof of postage, and use a recorded delivery service if the value of the return is significant.
