Welcome to the Royal School of Needlework The International Centre
of Excellence for the
Art of Hand Embroidery
Do you have an unfinished project you’ve been working on and come to a grinding halt as you’re not sure what to do next?
Or do you want to start your own project but need a bit of guidance?
If this sounds familiar, then the RSN’s Stitch Surgery could be just what the doctor ordered!
Sue Rudd said: “I had completely stalled on a piece of Crewelwork embroidery and the Stitch Surgery gave me the motivation and technical knowledge to get back on track. I thoroughly enjoyed the class and would recommend it to anyone. The piece is now finished and my mother was delighted with her Christmas present.”
Marguerite de Combret said: “I received an embroidery book with a particular image I wanted to sew. I really liked the way that the Stitch Surgery class allows different styles and techniques for students and not a specific topic. It has been really good and in such a beautiful setting too.”
So, pull out those unfinished embroideries lurking in the back of cupboards or start that new project you’ve been itching to do and book onto the RSN Stitch Surgery. Our Tutor will advise and teach you the necessary hand embroidery techniques to start or progress with your current project.
We run two Stitch Surgery sessions a month, one on a Wednesday and one on a Saturday.
