These classes are designed to give you an overall introduction to embroidery and provide you with ideas as to which techniques you may wish to explore in more detail in the future.
You will be provided with a design and a pack of materials which will enable you to work a sampler of embroidery stitches. The tutor also will explain that there are numerous embroidery techniques and you will be able to see examples of many of them on the walls in the classrooms to help you decide what to try next.
If you don't know where to start, these classes are ideal for you. However any of the other Introduction classes in other techniques are also suitable for complete beginners.
