Grace graduated from the RSN Apprenticeship in 2008.
Grace writes...
I started my creative life at an incredibly early age – normally using all the sellotape and PVA glue in my house. However, my love of textiles did not emerge until college. I studied Art, English Language, Film Studies and Fashion at Esher College, in Surrey, where I fell in love with new romantics and their elaborate clothing. My teacher then led me to The Royal School of Needlework where I learnt the art of hand embroidery.
I had the opportunity to learn from the very best and to learn how to create exquisite embroidery.
And now I work freelance, creating pieces of embroidery and textiles for collections and to commission, but most importantly to be loved and cherished.
