<< back

Having graduated in Design from Central/St Martins, Amber Khokhar studied at the Academy of Fine Art, Warsaw, at Harvard's Arthur M, Sackler Museum, Massachusetts, she studied 'Painting Traditions of India' and she holds a Masters in Traditional Art.

Amber continues to work as a practising artist who takes inspiration from traditional floral motifs. Her distinctive hand painted designs - on tiles and plates - are highly collectable. Amber has delivered a number of workshops for the Victoria and Albert Museum and in January will be teaching 'Iznik Tiles: Floral motifs in Dynamic Arrangements' at the British Museum, as part of the World Arts and Artefacts Programme through Birkbeck University .
